Neonatal Intensive Care

In our 97-bed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, a Regional Level IV NICU, All Children's neonatologists work together with other pediatric specialists to provide multidisciplinary care for critically ill newborns - many of them transferred to All Children's from other neonatal units. These infants benefit from therapies and technologies available only at select centers. ACH neonatologists are on staff at 6 community hospitals to manage the care of at-risk newborns and expedite transfer to the All Children's NICU when needed.

Pediatric Cardiology & Heart Surgery

All Children's Heart Institute provides comprehensive pediatric and perinatal cardiology care for patients with congenital heart defects and other cardiac problems- including evaluation and management of heart defects before birth. Our cardiovascular surgeons perform complex heart surgeries, including transplant, for newborns through teens. The Heart Center has cardiac ORs, cath labs and a 22-room Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit.

Neuroscience Institute

Our team of pediatric neurosurgeons treats patients with brain tumors, head and spine trauma, and other problems of the brain and spine, working collaboratively with our pediatric epileptologist to offer treatment options for children with seizure disorders.

Pediatric Surgery

Pediatric general surgeons are at the forefront of advanced miniature access surgery, including minimally invasive single incision ("stealth") surgery.

Five pediatric orthopaedic surgeons specialize in scoliosis and other spinal deformities, skeletal trauma and sports injuries.

Cancer & Blood Disorders

Our pediatric cancer program is one of the largest in the southeastern U.S. and provides access to the latest therapies through clinical trials.

The pediatric bone marrow transplant program is the largest in Florida and offers the full range of transplant options for cancers, sickle cell disease and metabolic disorders.

Other key programs include a multidisciplinary brain tumor team, sickle cell disease program, state-designated hemophilia center, and Florida's only program for pediatric clotting disorders.

Emergency Medicine, Trauma, Transport & Intensive Care

Our 28-bed Pediatric Emergency Center, staffed by board-certified pediatric emergency medicine physicians, handles 43,000 visits per year and is home to one of Florida's busiest pediatric trauma programs.

Our 28-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit has expertise in trauma, near-drowning and life-threatening illness.

Our Neonatal & Pediatric Transport Team brings critically ill patients to All Children's from across Florida and beyond, and provides lifesaving care that includes ECMO.

Cystic Fibrosis and Asthma

Our nationally designated Cystic Fibrosis Center cares for children and teens from many parts of Florida and is also a Cystic Fibrosis Foundation-designated Therapeutic Development Center-one of 77 centers worldwide.
