Responsible for performing a wide range of duties related to maintaining and servicing sophisticated electronic equipment according to national codes and standards.
Associate Degree in Biomedical Technology or Electronic Technology, or equivalent (i.e., four years’ experience in repairing and maintaining sophisticated electronic equipment, including medical electronic equipment, in accordance with Federal, State and local codes) preferred. Must be conversant in national Electric Code (NEC), National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), and Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI) codes and standards. Stooping, bending and lifting moderately heavy weight required. Must display manual dexterity so as to perform repetitive tasks. Visual, color and auditory acuity required. May be required to work evenings, nights or weekends to accomplish goals and objectives.
