Assists pharmacists in the delivery of Pharmacy services to Outpatient Clinics, Physician's Practice, patients, and employees by completing data entry into a computer system, preparing, delivering and billing medications, and by performing other miscellaneous technical responsibilities.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or G.E.D. Active Florida Pharmacy Technician Registration (effective 1/1/2010). Excellent math skills and computer order entry skills are required. Experience with preparation of IV medications desired. Individuals with hospital Outpatient Pharmacy or other pharmacy experience including preparation of sterile products will be given preference. Pharmacy Technician Certification is desired
