LAKELAND OUTPATIENT CARE CENTER:
*High School Diploma or GED Equivalent. Associate degree preferred.
*Four years of clerical experience required, including two years in a medical and/or rehabilitation services setting preferred.
*Knowledge of medical terminology.
*Advanced computer skills, including the ability to use several software programs at the same time and navigate websites to facilitate continutity of patient care.
*Knowledge of billing and third party insurance authorization process preferred.
*Ability to interact with multiple health care providers and large patient volumes within a high energy, fast-paced environment.
*Ability to stoop, crouch, and reach to retrieve files.
*Mobility to move about the site or Hospital campus.
*Light work (exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally).
*Visual and auditory acuity to operate general office equipment.
*Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
*Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
*Good interpersonal skills.
*Basic math skills for statistical and other reports.
*Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
*Ability to effectively deal with stress and produce work on demand and within short time frames amidst frequent
