This position has primary responsibility for the daily posting of charge vouchers and claim generation for all payer classes.
High school diploma or GED required. At least two (2) years experience in physician receivables, billing and cash posting. Medical terminology preferred. Must have ability to keypunch; working knowledge of posting and reconciling accounts as well as comprehensive understanding of third party payers and managed care contracts. Ability to handle highly confidential issues with discretion. Ability to handle multiple priorities. Must be able to communicate effectively (read, write and understand English), knowledge of automated billing system. Ability to be diplomatic in difficult situations
