Revenue Cycle Analyst

Description: To identify and analyze hospital denials based upon available data in CareMedic. Report this information to management and related recommendations so that current processes can be modified or changed to improve outcomes and reduce denials. Through process management and improvement, will allow ACH to avoid additional costs associated with cause of denials. This position will work within all areas of the Revenue Cycle.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, health science, statistics or related field is required and a minimum of 2 years of healthcare experience within patient financial services is preferred. In lieu of degree, the applicant must demonstrate at least 5 years of progressive experience within the Patient Financial Services field. Experience working with many different aspects of the Revenue Cycle as well as patient access, charge capture, managed care contracts, billing, and collections within a healthcare setting is highly preferred. Must be able to work independently and proactively to analyze data and trends, identify opportunities to improve processes and solve problems that impact the recovery of claim resolution. Excellent communication skills are required. Must be able to prioritize and self-manage tasks/assignments; understand complex information and convey it to a variety of internal stakeholders. Experience working with hospital Patient Access, Billing and Coding systems is preferred. Microsoft Office skills is preferred and Project Management skills beneficial
