RN Quality Advisor

Description: Position Summary: The Quality Advisor for Clinical processes interacts with medical staff, clinical departments, and organizational leadership to assure quality of patient care through data collection, analysis and process improvement efforts; utilizes current outcomes data to proactively identify and address opportunities to improve clinical outcomes and patient safety; functions as a facilitator and role model in process improvement activities to improve clinical quality (service, outcome and/or cost); coordinates ongoing communication and interpretation of departmental and individual physician practice data; and facilitates and supports activities to assure medical staff and organizational compliance with regulatory/accreditation standards.
Requirements: An active Florida license as an (R.N., RRT, or RPH) Bachelors degree required, Masters preferred. A minimum of three years full time experience in an acute care facility; A minimum of 2 years of hospital quality experience or green/black belt certification from a recognized program is required. Experience in managing/promoting regulatory compliance; advanced process improvement skills:excellent facilitation skills; and experience in project management preferred. Demonstrates excellent communication skills and an ability to relate well with people of diverse backgrounds, training, and experience. Knowledge and proficient use of Microsoft computer applications. Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with physicians and staff. Requires ability to assess and analyze, demonstrate effective organizational skills, and self direction
