CVICU RN FELLOWSHIP POSITION
Pediatric Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Nurse (CVICU RN II) with ICU and/or pediatric (acute care) nursing exp at All Children's Hospital, member Johns Hopkins Medicine in Tampa Bay, Florida. Our Heart Center pediatric CVICU Nurse works in an environment that offers cutting-edge medical, surgical and technical therapies to help infants, children and teens with congenital and acquired heart disease. The pediatric CVICU Nurse builds rapport with pediatric CVICU patients and their families in order to assess the physical and physiological needs of the patient. The pediatric CVICU Nurse seeks opportunities to learn about pediatric treatment to constantly improve and update skills. The pediatric CVICU Nurse educates the patient and family about managing their illness or other conditions, including post-treatment home care needs, which can include diet and exercise regimens, nutrition and self-medication procedures. The pediatric CVICU Nurse must be prepared and emotionally stable to work with children diagnosed with life-threatening conditions. All Children's Hospital facility in St. Petersburg, FL offers an opportunity to work with cutting edge technology and an industry leader in children's healthcare. Current licensure in the State of Florida as a Registered Nurse (by hire date), BSN preferred, 1+ yr ICU exp (peds pref) OR 5+ yrs Peds - Acute care Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Adult Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required (within two years of start date). CCRN recommended
