(Posted on 06/25/2014) St. Petersburg – June 25, 2014 - The University of South Florida completed a transfer of 1.4 acres of land to All Children’s Hospital Johns Hopkins Medicine, a move that symbolizes the long-term, shared commitment to continuing the training of the USF Health Morsani College of Medicine medical students. The land -- donated by the state to USF in April -- was transferred yesterday by USF as a gift to All Children’s Hospital. The property will be used to develop a research, education and training facility to support innovations in pediatric care and expand the future collaborative efforts of the two organizations.

With the help of thousands of donors this year, the hospital raised $3,926,121 during the 11 ½ hour live broadcast on WFLA-TV News Channel 8, as well as through the taped broadcast on WXCW in the Ft.
