The Northeast Exchange Club's Ribfest 2009, "20 Years of Rockin' Ribs - Helpin' Kids," is a premier annual charity fundraising event, with great food and a social gathering for the entire family. A portion of the proceeds benefit All Children's Hospital. RibFest will be hosted in St. Petersburg's Vinoy Park Nov. 13-15, 2009.
Ribbers from across the country, Canada, and Australia will delight barbeque fans with their award-winning recipes, and kids can enjoy attractions in Family Fun Zone featuring inflatable bounce rooms, 20 ft. slides, obstacle course and glow golf.
The 2009 NEX Ribfest is proud to host national recording artists Blue Öyster Cult, George Thorogood & the Destroyers, and JET, as well as popular local artists like Suite Caroline on two stages. The nations leading BMX Action Sports Stunt Team "Hell on Wheels" sponsored by Tobacco Free Florida will be performing their thrilling show throughout the weekend. Visit the Family Fun Zone on Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 5pm.
There will be the very popular Tires Plus Classic Car and Truck Show on Saturday and a Motorcycle Show on Sunday.
